Templates & Content Disclaimer

This page covers the document and contract templates provided in the Service operated by Beyond Technologies Ltd (“Sidekick”, “we”) — including invoice and quote layouts, contract templates, e-signature templates, and any sector-specific templates such as the real-estate set. It forms part of, and must be read together with, our Terms of Service.

1. Templates are starting points, not legal documents

Our templates are provided as drafting aids to save you time. They are not legal advice, are not tailored to your specific situation, and are not guaranteed to be complete, current, or suitable for any particular purpose or transaction. We do not vet the legal content of any template for any jurisdiction.

2. Have them reviewed

Before you use any template for a real transaction — especially a contract or anything with legal or financial consequences — you should have it reviewed and, where needed, adapted by a qualified professional (for example an attorney or, for property and notarial matters, your notaire). Sector templates such as the real-estate set carry an on-screen note to this effect; that note does not narrow the disclaimers on this page.

3. You are responsible for the content you send

Once you edit, complete and send or sign a document built from a template, that document is yours. You are responsible for its contents, for filling in the blanks correctly, and for making sure it says what you intend and complies with the law that applies to you and the other party. Sidekick is not a party to your documents and gives no opinion on them.

4. No professional relationship

Providing a template does not make Sidekick your lawyer, notary, accountant or adviser, and creates no professional or fiduciary relationship of any kind. See our AI Use Disclaimer where a template or its contents were generated or suggested by AI.

5. Liability

Templates are provided “as is” and subject to the warranty disclaimers and limitation of liability in our Terms of Service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, a template. Nothing on this page limits any liability that cannot be limited under the law of Mauritius.
