AI Use Disclaimer

This page explains the artificial-intelligence (“AI”) features of the Service operated by Beyond Technologies Ltd (“Sidekick”, “we”). It forms part of, and must be read together with, our Terms of Service. By using any AI feature you accept the terms below.

1. What the AI does

Sidekick includes generative-AI features that draft and suggest content — for example drafting invoices and documents, summarising records, suggesting replies, organising your CRM, and assisting with checks such as reading an uploaded payment proof. These features are designed to save you time. They are tools that produce suggestions.

2. The AI can be wrong

AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, out of date, or inappropriate for your situation. It can misread documents, miscalculate, and state things that are simply not true (“hallucinate”). You must review every AI-generated result before you rely on it or send it to anyone. This is especially important for figures, dates, client details, and any legal or financial wording. AI output is provided “as is”, without warranty of accuracy, completeness, fitness for any purpose or non-infringement.

3. Not professional advice

Sidekick is software. Nothing the AI produces is tax, legal, accounting, or financial advice, and using it does not create any adviser–client relationship. This applies particularly to anything touching VAT, the Mauritius Revenue Authority (MRA), Electronic Billing System (EBS) requirements, your Business Registration Number (BRN), company law, or your own statutory filings. For those matters you must consult a qualified professional. You remain responsible for your own compliance and for the accuracy of everything you issue and file.

4. You are the issuer

Where the AI helps create a document — an invoice, quote, contract or message — you, not Sidekick, are the author and issuer of that document once you send or finalise it. You are responsible for its content and consequences. The AI’s involvement does not shift that responsibility to us.

5. Assistive checks are not guarantees

Some features use AI to assist a check — for example reading a bank transfer or payment proof you upload. These are assistive and may be wrong; they are not a guarantee that a payment was received, that funds have cleared, or that a document is genuine. Final decisions and verification remain with you (and, where we operate the check, with us acting reasonably), not with the AI.

6. How we handle your data with AI

We use third-party AI model providers to deliver these features. We do not use the content of your prompts or your Customer Data to train any third-party AI model, and we configure our providers to disable training on submitted data. The current list of AI sub-processors is in our Privacy Policy. Please do not paste into the AI any information you are not permitted to process or share.

7. Liability

The AI features are provided subject to the warranty disclaimers and limitation of liability in our Terms of Service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your reliance on AI output that you did not review. Nothing on this page limits any liability that cannot be limited under the law of Mauritius.
