Freelance Contract

This Freelance Contract (the "Contract") is entered into on {{effective_date}} between:

{{freelancer_name}}, an independent contractor (the "Freelancer"); and

{{client_name}} (the "Client").

1. Project

The Freelancer shall deliver: {{project_description}}

2. Deliverables and Timeline

Final deliverables are due by {{delivery_date}}.

3. Compensation

The Client shall pay the Freelancer a total of MUR {{total_fee}}, structured as follows: 50% deposit on signature, 50% on delivery and acceptance.

4. Independent Contractor Status

The Freelancer is an independent contractor and not an employee of the Client. The Freelancer is solely responsible for their own taxes, social contributions, and insurance.

5. Intellectual Property

Upon full payment, all final deliverables shall become the property of the Client. The Freelancer retains the right to display non-confidential portions in their portfolio.

6. Revisions

The fee includes up to {{revision_rounds}} rounds of revisions. Additional revisions will be billed at the Freelancer's standard hourly rate.

7. Governing Law

This Contract is governed by the laws of the Republic of Mauritius.
